Project Based Learning (PBL)

PBL is a dynamic approach to teaching in which students explore real-world problems and challenges. At Willow, projects address community issues and students work in collaboration with parents, community members, businesses and organizations. Projects integrate all content areas: Reading, Writing, Math, Research/Library, Technology, Music, Art, Physical Education, Science and Social Studies. This type of engaged learning inspires students to deepen their knowledge of a range of subjects.
